“Just as good as usual. Mostly I combine a visit to Vine House with any other business I have in that part of the world. On this occasion as the bluetits, in particular, were eating me out of house and home I had some delivered.”
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As black sunflower seeds still have their husks, most birds will go for an easier option if available - sunflower hearts for example. De-husking food takes precious time & energy, which is in short supply especially during the breeding season. Finches & the Tit family like black sunflowers, but softbill species such as Blackbirds and Robins can’t remove the husk.
