Just ordered another bag of black sunflower seeds from Vine farm. Excellent price good quality seed, and most of all the birds love it. Very quick delivery which is also free. They also give a donation to the RSPB which is good.

Unfortunately none of our usual visiting birds will eat the black sunflower seeds - but the squirrels absoluteley love them. We have had to buy our usual sunflower hearts to bring the birds back into the garden.

Hello Thank you for your feedback. Although sunflower seeds are a popular choice with birds, black sunflower seeds are not suitable for species such as Robin, Blackbird, Song Thrush and Blue Tits since they can't remove the husk.. For these species it’s best to provide sunflower hearts, which are the same product but with the husk removed. Regards Vine House Farm

Excellent delivery was ordered late Thursday evening despatched early on Thursday arrived safely Friday. Well cleaned few stalks left but many barley grains leaving a good crop of plants earlier in the year and occasional maize grains and the odd wheat grain. No country of origin noted on the invoice so I assume home produced.
