Where space is limited but you don’t want to compromise, the LunaRun treadmill is a great option. This full-feature machine has a flat folding system so it can be stored horizontally or vertically, for example under a sofa or bed. The motor is 1.25 continuous HP and ensures a maximum speed of 10mph (16kph) with a 10% incline, both controllable by quick keys on the console and handlebars. Jog comfortably on the cushioned running deck with a running area of 42cm x 125cm (16.5” x 49.2”). The LCD screen is bright, clear, back-lit and easy to read, and it shows your feedback as you run. Choose from 12 pre-set workouts that have been made uniquely by a personal trainer, and there are 3 customisable user-defined programmes that let you personalise sessions. Also, setting it up is easier as it comes 90% ready assembled out of the box. “I've given the LunaRun 5* because it represents good value and has a quality machine feel to the running action (almost anyway). It has many of the features of a much more expensive machine, but at an affordable price (I got mine direct, with the on-line discount offer, which may have closed by the time you read this). The action is good - quite smooth and also it absorbs impact to a large extent, but bear in mind that I am about 82Kg. A heavier person may not obtain as much cushioning on the treadmill. The motor is lightweight in terms of power, but it never seems to feel laboured, so it doesn't seem to be an issue. The incline action is smooth and effective. The machine really DOES fold "flat" - the folded position permits it to be stood up against a wall, out of the way and it projects about 12" or so when in the standing position - it really does fold out of the way and is a great space saving feature. The panel is fairly basic, so don't expect the same quality as the ones down the gym that you can watch TV/moving images on, or even have decent audio quality. That said, it does provide you with the stats you want to understand your achievements during a workout, but just don't expect it to be a movie experience. It's quite quiet. It takes a bit of getting upstairs (about 60Kg or so). The belt width is quite good at 42.5cm. The bottle holders are too shallow, so you bottle won't stay in very well. That said, the machine is fairly stable in use, but obviously not as stable as the ones down the gym. But it doesn't cost anything like those machines do, so remember to put things into perspective. Some items are cheap, but useless. Some items are good value and have really quite acceptable quality and function. Some items are very expensive, but are the DB's. I'd say this machine is absolutely great for home use and will give you a good workout, so represents good value and functionality. I'm quite impressed and both my wife and I are happy with the purchase and would recommend this. Hope you find this review helpful, but look at all the reviews before making up your mind.”

“I think this is a cracking machine for the price. It's a little noisy at times, and as others have mentioned, the drinks holder is basically useless, but on the whole, it's smashing and I love how flat it folds.”
