VeloVixen Climb & Conquer Jacket - Rapida Medium Reviews

4.3 Rating 7 Reviews
Perfect for cold weather riding. Layer it up with a baselayer and warm accessories and you’re out for the day! It has seen me through from 0-8 degrees this winter. Comfortable and stylish. Would thoroughly recommend.

The size comes up quite small as I normally wear a size 10 and bought a medium. It's the perfect fit wearing just a base layer. I can fit a second thin layer under it, but it's been surprisingly lovely and warm cycling in 3 degrees with just a long sleeve base layer. And I absolutely love the colours. I'm just sorry that the good weather means it is now too warm to wear it.

Too rigid and uncomfortable. Sleeves way too short and cuffs impossible to get over wearable tech. Poor fit - hips way too big in proportion to chest - made for the seriously pear-shaped?? Very disappointed. At least Velo Vixen efficient at dealing with return.

I have the Rapida long sleeve jersey and absolutely love the pattern, so couldn’t resist the climb and conquer jacket. It’s absolutely fantastic. In lowish temperatures (3-4C) I’ve worn just a light short sleeve jersey underneath, so it’s going to be suitable for much colder conditions with a long sleeve top underneath. I also wear it with my Rapida bandida and VV Orkaan long leg tights, which are also blissfully comfortable. Thank you Velo Vixen.

I bought the Climb & Conquer l/s jacket but had to return it cos it was just too tight (S): I’m a size 10. I found the sleeves too short as well which is odd cos I’ve not got long arms. The quality of the fabric was lovely and the design fabulous. But you should know that the windproof nature of it makes it quite stiff.
