“Now, obviously it's summer, and, also obviously, the Climb & Conquer jacket was not made for summer. It was made for crisp early Spring and late Autumn / Winter rides, with or without a base layer. However - I've had a Climb & Conquer jacket before, the beautiful green and black Riff. So I know how they wear, how they feel. They are warm, comfy, waterproof to an extent (I don't think they'd hold back a British monsoon, but certainly ok for showers - being mostly a dry weather cyclist, raindrops beaded on the surface of mine the few times I got caught out). I had to sell my original Riff jacket because I lost a bit of weight and it didn't fit me anymore but I am so looking forward to wearing my smaller Refraction jacket.
Come the winter, come the suitably dressed cyclist!!”
“I love the Velo Vixen brand and already have several items from them. ( Mostly jerseys) I am tall, 6ft and really wanted their winter jackets to fit me but sadly I found them too short in the arms and length. A cold back and wrists in the winter months are not nice.”
“Love this jacket. Perfect winter wear with a baselayer underneath. The trim fit keep me snug when out in the north-easterly wind blowing in across the fens. And the design is gorgeous, too”
“Love the colours. Fits well although a little loose around the shoulders (it's a looser fit than other items of stolen goat kit i have in the same size but this is my first C&C jacket so possibly just the cut). Super warm and snuggly. Worn when about 5C outside and lovely and warm”
“This jacket is really well made and has kept me warm on a few cold rides with just a thin base layer underneath. I bought a medium and usually wear a size 12. It is tight fitting so I won't get many more layers underneath it but I am not sure I will need them. I love the pattern and have had some lovely compliments about the style and the fit.”
