“I've recently purchased a second bottle of this supplement. I find it has no taste or aftertaste. Easy to swallow and reasonable price. I did however notice there was no mention of EPA on the bottle and so emailed the company directly to be told the product doesn't contain EPA at all and was given a few links to articles explaining why DHA is "the real powerhouse" as they called it. Since then I've read countless articles and many say that both types of omega three are necessary, other articles say that the importance of either one depends on the reason you want to add a supplement to your diet (anti inflammatory -better go for one that contains EPA or if brain health is the main reason, DHA is more essential, for example)if you're only looking for a high dose DHA Omega 3 supplement then this is great. If you're after a supplement that contains both, then this isn't it.”

“I've bought the product on a distracted buy while sourcing some vegan Omega 3 supplements. When I later Googled the brand, I realised the lack of information and how little credibility this brand had.Hence, I bough from Omvits which seems a bit more reputable. When I opened the Omvits product (great packaging which looks like a high-standards product) I could smell the distinctive algae smell which I was familiar with when I was using a very high-quality product (one of those very famous US brands, hard to get in Europe, but scoring very highly in independent lab tests - can't recall the brand, but think one like "now" or "Solgar").After my research and doubts on its quality, I already knew I wasn't going to use the Vegan Vitality product (their packaging also looks really low quality & badly printed), but I thought I'd open it and smell it and see the impression. The product had almost no smell (compared to the pleasant smell of algae of those other 2 high quality products I mentioned)... and instead I sensed a worrying faint chemical smell which is still slightly upsetting me after several minutes.I'm not here to tell you what to do, but if you can't find any trustworthy info on the brand it probably can't be classified as a high-quality product. Quality is already volatile and insufficient with some known and shop brands, go figure with an unknown and anonymous brand which doesn't show any concrete evidence of how and where it sources its product and with no solid or evidence-based reputation.”

“This product does not contain EPA as advertised in the title. There are many studies suggesting that BOTH of these compounds are important for health, not DHA alone, which is why I chose the product. In other comments the seller mentions eliminating EPA from the formula to cut supply costs, but despite this has not changed the title to accurately reflect the product.Edit: At least they updated updated the product title on request”

“One review said these capsules tasted fishy if bitten and ruptured, so was inspired to bite one and see. Not a a pleasant taste but not really fishy. After 35 years of being Vegan, I'd have been sickened by a fish taste.It's hard to tell the benefits of all these supplements, but this is one that should be beneficial to (us) Vegans. Will continue to buy and take.”
