“I spent quite a bit of time looking through all the info on the site so was made aware of the need to buy a bonding kit for the window but at no point was I advised I needed to order the u-channel separately. So when it arrived I had to ring up and order a u channel. Also the kit doesn’t come with a template and even with a degree in design/manufacturing it doesn’t make it as straight forward to make the right size hole. It would be so easy to include a template. I also had to contact them as there is a discrepancy between the instructional video and the instructions with the bonding kit which I was told I could do whichever way I prefer, didn’t fill me with confidence!!”

Hi there, Many thanks for you review. Please accept our apologies for the confusion on our website, the windows unfortunately do not come with u-channel or bonding kits unless purchased as one of our package deals. With regards to the template, the reason we do not have these is because not every van aperture is the same, meaning that every template would need to be slightly different. When cutting the panel out on a van, we always recommend using the inside skin as your template, as this will finish within the banding area on the window and is general practice when cutting a panel out. This is touched on in our fitting video that can be found on our website here - https://www.vanpimps.co.uk/van-conversion-window-fitting-video/ With regards to the primer, you can put this onto the panel of the van or the window, either way is fine as long as the coverage is enough to create a strong bond.
