“I really like this product because only small amounts are needed for hair styling, I can achieve the desired hold and effect, it has no harsh ingredients, has a pleasant scent and is easy to apply when mixed with small amounts of water for longer hair.
This is better than the corporate brand hair styling products in my opinion, because those have chemicals that either give me an allergic reaction with severe swelling in my eyes or a dry scalp which causes flaking.
I have not noticed any flaking nor seen any white crystallised residue in my hair after use. You may need to rub the mud into the hair to avoid leaving the some of it visible. I use some water to help with this for when my hair is longer. More water can give a wet look finish whereas much less water a matte look.
I find that it is also easy to wash out and does not cause any increase in acne or spots.
The only other natural hair styling product I have seen is slightly more expensive and less in quantity so I would be buying this natural hair styling mud again.”
