“Girl Mono is a favourite with several US reviewers and as Onda is difficult to get at present I bought Mono . Everyone says they all come out with a different curl pattern , but mine was soft and gentle . Settling above the shoulders . Easy to tuck behind my ears and offering opportunity to pin up and off the face . Although the colour hinted at being red , it was a lovely rich brunette . It needed nothing out of the box other than a quick shake . She is still in the box while I am wearing my older wigs . Got a turkey to cook , don’t want to frizzle her .”

“I usually wear Ellen Wille Amor in hot mocca rooted, which is absolutely gorgeous, but the last couple I’ve purchased have been much shorter! So, I decided to try Girl in chocolate rooted (closest match I could see) as Girl appeared to be a bit longer.
I have a small head so Girl is almost shoulder length on me, which is what I wanted. It’s just slightly longer than my original Amors - perfect. There’s plenty of hair (which I need, having a small head), with wavy layers.
I had to trim some of the top layers to suit me (more in the style of Amor) and also trimmed the front to a fringe, as I always wear a fringe.
It’s extremely natural looking and, as with Amor, everyone thinks it’s my own hair.
The colour, chocolate rooted, is a lovely, rich, warm mid- brown, slightly darker than hot mocca rooted.
It washes well - I use Ellen Wille shampoo, follow the instructions, shake it out and hang it upside down to dry. The waves bounce back immediately. I then spray with Ellen Wille leave in conditioner when it’s dry.
Fit - its comfortable and light to wear and it fits my small head when I tighten the velcros at the back.
Which do I prefer, Girl or Amor? If I could guarantee that Amor wouldn't be on the short side, I’d pick Amor. I also prefer the hot mocca rooted to the chocolate rooted on me (ideally, I wish Girl was available in hot mocca rooted but that’s not an option!).
For me, it’s always going to be either Amor or Girl, but which one to pick!. The chocolate rooted is darker than hot mocca rooted but no-one has noticed the difference when I’ve swapped between both styles!

“Having ordered a girl mono a few weeks ago which was superb so this one had a lot to live up too. Not in the same class as before. Much thinner hair covering the base. Less curls too So all in all a bit disappointing.”

“Girl mono is a lovely wig. It has beachy waves that feel quite full, but is actually low density! The lace front is very good and the hair looks great clipped off my face. I ordered the colour Light Bernstein rooted, it was darker than I expected, but after a while, I really like the colour and I love the wave pattern of the particular wig.
