“Code mono is a really light density piece with no permatease, this however does not mean you can see any of the wefts. She is really well made and has that beautiful Ellen Wille lace front. I have heard her compared to the Rene of Paris Nolan on YouTube; so I got out my Nolan to do my own comparison. I could see the similarities in style shape, Code mono is however slightly shorter and of course a lighter density.
Code mono will be a fantastic style for summer so I might try and save mine until then, I would also like to say thank you to the team at Valentine wigs.”
“Wow! My first ever wig due to thinning hair at the age of 49. I was losing all confidence and self esteem and feeling very low so I wanted to try the world of wigs. I have looked at this wig many times now but having signed up and received my 10% discount for being a new customer, I bit the bullet and bought it and wish I'd done so earlier. So many compliments about how I look radiant and that people couldn't tell it was a wig at all. I've worn it tucked behind my ears, I've had a clip in it to wear half up and half down and also let it be natural with it's soft layers flow onto my face. Highly recommend a wig grip if you're a first timer. The silicone ones give me a headache but the velour ones are much nicer for the head. I haven't washed this wig yet but it brushes lovely and I've used wig styling spray (also purchased from Valentine Wigs) to hold my styles in place. The only bad thing I would say is that - and this is with any fake hair as I used to wear extensions - is that it tends to mat together at the back of the neck. That's the only problem I have with it and I find myself messing with my wig more as a result of it. But that's the only pro to wearing a wig that's restored my confidence, looks natural and apparently makes my eyes sparkle! This is the first of many wigs for me, I'm sure!”

Matting is a common problem for wigs, especially longer ones. We have two help pages that give tips and tricks to combat this problem:

In a nutshell we recommend you wash and condition your wig or hairpiece regularly.
Don't comb or brush it whilst it is wet.
After drying use a wide toothcomb to remove any knots. Brush through the ends gently and never from the top, start from the ends and work your way to the cap holding the fibre above the comb to reduce strain and avoid shedding.
Fabrics you wear can draw moisture out of your wig. Spray your leave in conditioner on daily to keep your wig moisturised. We recommend a spray a day in any weather and a little extra when needed.

“This is a really lovely wig at an exceptional price point, perfect for an everyday look without being too 'done up' or volumized.
Pros - thin without much volume, making it easy to wear and natural. This will lay quite flat so be aware, it's not easy to tease up for volume so look for another style if you like lots of hair. Quality lace front - I'm really pleased with this for the price. Also minimal shedding and breakage. Cap is comfortable for those with no hair or sensitive scalps.
Cons - I ordered a blonde rooted colour and, while the colour is divine, the wig does have the quintessential verrrrry shiny synthetic look that needed to be corrected with some dry shampoo.”

“I've recently discovered Ellen Wille wigs and am very impressed with the styles, fit and quality. The Code Lace Front Mono wig is no exception. Having suffered from alopecea for over 20 years I have found a lot of wigs seem to have too much hair but not these ones. They have a realistic volume and natural feel. The cut and length of Code is very on trend and can be worn pinned up for an alternative look. I purchased it in hotmocca rooted which I found to be darker than expected but the rooted effect gives the wig a very natural look. I must also take this opportunity to say that the service provided by the team at Valentine Wigs is second to none and the prices are always extremely competitive. Although I have only dealt with the team online, my needs have been met on every occasion, and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. I will definately be making further purchases from Valentine Wigs.

“With wearing an acrylic wig for 6+ yrs now due to suffering with alopecia- I have always stuck to the same one, as I love the colour and it’s really comfortable
Plus with It being synthetic it really does look like my own hair and nobody has ever said anything re it being an actual
Wig! This helps with my confidence so much as I don’t have much anyway.
However I have had a few problems with the last two/three From previous places - as soon as they arrived there seemed to be split ends on the top and weren’t as good quality as previously, I do believe that care hadn’t been taken whilst preparing and packaging leaving the wig not how it should be with the price I paid.
Very disappointing and such a shame as the wig in itself is lovely.
Something went very wrong here so I decided not to purchase from previous places
I came across VALENTINES WIGS and rang up to enquire speaking with Bet explaining my queries and she was very helpful, as was Richard and someone else in the team, (I didn’t get her name)
I received my new wig today and am over the moon with it
...It fits perfectly the quality is just how it should be, no split ends or frazzled fibres.
