“I took another risk buying this candle . The first one was phoenix rising and it paid off. This one didn’t ! Not at all what I thought it would smell like. This is why urban apothecary need to start sending out free samples so we’re not disappointed and it doesn’t put people off buying. I think it’s a bit much that it all depends on how much you spend as to what samples you get. In these times I think you need to be a little more giving”

As an independent small business, we offer samples with purchase, having developed a broad sample collection, including eau de parfums and room sprays, that our customers can select from themselves to help inform the next purchasing decision.
Acknowledging that buying fragrance online can be tricky, we developed our scent stories and profiles to help indicate how each might smell. In addition, we created a Perfume Sample Collection, a Room Spray Sample Collection and a Tea Light for every candle fragrance so that customers can try a miniature version before investing in a larger one.
