“Beautiful lantern. Just two points I would like to make. The captive bolts are just a little too short to enable the front screws to easily get hold of the thread, if the lantern is fixed to a wall. I have not managed to get all four to screw in. Second - although the mounting plate has a recess for the mains cable, the cover has not, which means the cable gets trapped between the cover and the wall. The lantern itself though is one of the best I have seen. I have three now, two bought several years ago, but all of them have the same issues, as above. I would recommend a filament type LED clear bulb, which looks really good in this lantern, will run cool and is energy efficient.”
