“Bought as a more elegant, modern replacement for old fashioned industrial style flourescent fitting for our revamped kitchen. Light output more than adequate for our 3.8m x 2.5m galley kitchen, providing an even light spread. Delighted I didn't go for downlighters. However, I would suggest that unless you are in the habit of wearing sunglasses in the kitchen, you consign the absolutely ghastly, spivish 6500K cool white tubes, with which the units come, to the bin (subtle they ain't) and replace with 3000K (light colour 830) warm white tubes. They are available on line very cheaply and the light is just as bright, just a more relaxing colour to live with.”
