“Whilst we are very happy with the slate sign itself (material, finish etc) and the clarity and finish of the print, we are disappointed that the screw holes impact negatively on the sign. Placed where they are, on this square sign. they are far too close to the print and impact negatively on the overall quality of the product - for a square sign, it makes much more sense to have holes at the 4 corners, rather than 2 holes on a central line. I phoned customer services about his issue and was told that the holes are 'predrilled', which is a feeble excuse when the instruction (on where to drill holes) could so easily have been altered.”

The sign is marketed as having 2 holes on the sign itself as you have mentioned and as advised by the customer services team the slate purchased arrives predrilled. With regards to the layout of the sign, the ideal layout is house number with the street name below as shown in the display image, once you choose an alternative option or choose to have additional text requirements, we rely on the customer being happy with the on screen preview for how the sign will appear once printed as we replicate this upon production. If any issues are noticed upon personalisation, we would expect the customer to call us for advice if they are unable to get the sign to appear as they had hoped as we can offer additional design services where necessary.
