“The number appears of good quality, especially the matt black finish. The fixing instructions were clear. The fixing method requires precision drilling, ie there is no tolerance. Despite achieving accurate drilling into a rendered masonry wall I found it impossible to "push" the threaded stud fixings into the wall plugs. I only achieved a fixing by removing the wall plugs, trimming them, threading them onto the back of the number then pushing the whole assembly into the holes in the wall. This has produced an acceptably firm but not particularly secure fixing. It seems that it is the poor design/quality of the wall plugs which made this process so difficult. The black spacers could be a liitle fatter to ensure they obscure the wall plugs, but this is a minor issue.”
