Our plant-based teabags are made from a cellulose material that is biodegradable and suitable for commercial composting. This means you can simply pop these teabags into your local council food waste/ garden waste bin.
We're pleased to let you know that all of our teabags sold in the UK are now made from this plant-based, biodegradable material (previously, we used heat-sealed teabags which were sealed using a small amount of plastic).
