“So far I'm still getting used to the taste. It has a briny earthy taste similar to tubho tea, I still can't pick up the floral or fruity notes they say. It produces a very dark but mild liquor. Very mild aroma when dry and even after brewing. If you like the taste the nice thing about this tea is that it can be brewed a few times and I find the second brew to be more pleasing. Due to its price I might not buy it again but it's a nice tea to have for variety, it's definitely unique in taste.”
“First time I’ve tried this tea. Distinctive taste due to the aging process of the tea which takes up to 10 years. Nice to try something different. Not sure I’ll get it again however as quite expensive compared to my usual Twinings purchases.”
