“Actually, perhaps disappointing is more accurate. I have not been able to find Russian Caravan tea in the stores for years and someone suggested I contact you directly, which I did. While it arrived quickly and was sealed well, so was fresh, etc, you have obviously changed your formula for it. It is not the same as it had been for all the many years that it was my favourite tea. I have needed to add the tiniest amount of Lapsang to it to get the hint of smokiness it used to have. Can someone please investigate why it no longer tastes the way it did back in the 70's and 80's. In those days that was the only tea I would drink. This version of the old classic is nothing like it and hence, with this recipe, I would not order it again from you. Yes, the drink I used to drink was Twinings Russian Caravan as well. I have had it recently in an Indian restaurant but the makers were from the East India company. That actually tasted like the old Russian Caravan that I remembered. My next order will be from them. Good luck with getting your older, better recipe recovered. Thank you for asking me my opinion.”
