“I have loved Lapsang Souchong since childhood. Today I tried a packet of the new Distinctivly Smokey and found it repugnant. I could not even finish the first cup and immediately threw the entire packet in the rubbish bin. I am surprised that a company I have cherished could market something so horrid to my tastebuds. I hope with a passion they can make Lapsang Souchong again.”

“I've been a drinker of Lapsang for years and was intrigued by this. I tried two cups and threw the test of the box away. It tastes nothing like lapsang and I found it incredibly nasty and made me feel rather sick. It smells very artificial like faintly burnt plastic and chemicals and tastes like a mixture of soapy water and ham that has started to go off. It really is dreadful and unjustifiable.”
