Challenger TR5013 Waterproof case Fantastic product produced and dispatched from the UK manufacturer themselves great company. Initially I had discovered Trifibre when I was looking for a more budget friendly alternative to Peli cases – which although fantastic, were far beyond my financial means, especially at the larger capacity storage range. Lots of trawling through overpriced and underwhelming quality Chinese manufactured waterproof cases led me to eventually discover this company. I had initially tried to place an order via Trifibre themselves – but for some reason my computer was blocking my attempts to register and while I spoke to a very friendly and helpful customer service agent via the phone and through email and who kept me informed and provided possible workarounds to this issue – I decided in the end to make the purchase via Amazon and absorb the slightly higher price point. I had a fantastic experience – the seller and manufacturer Trifibre got my order sent out to me immediately – sooner than Amazon were even able to track for me and it arrived 2 days after placing my order. The case is fantastic – incredibly strong. Inside there are 4 layers of foam: a base piece, a thicker upper level on top, a very well made and easy to customise pick and pluck layer of foam and in the lid, the egg-style foam. Unlike other more expensive cases – this model benefits form having 4 latches connecting the lid to the base at the sides and at the front. A decent sliding carry case with a good quality deploying mechanism for the extendable handle – rounds out the options for transport and the wheels at the base for pulling the unit along are reassuringly strong and durable. Dual padlock holes are present at the front – allowing you to secure the case – on rough measurement they appear to be around 7-8mm in diameter – meaning you could fit a fairly beefy pair of padlocks to the case if you desired. Structural integrity of the case is amazing – the manufacturer has really thought out where to reinforce the case with extra moulding on all the areas that would otherwise represent weak points (e.g. lid, case corners etc.) There’s even a manual pressure release valve and the rubber seal that goes around all of the inside of the lid sits properly as it should – making this case a truly weather resistant option. I’ll definitely be buying more of these as I have some fragile electronics and outdoor gear that will benefit from safe storage and the appearance and design of the cases are just so well made they look great wherever you might decide to store them. Really great to deal with a lovely British company, making quality products at competitive prices and having excellent in-house customer service that is polite, friendly and very helpful. Other companies should take note. 10/10

Courier managed to break some of the cases that I ordered so not as tough as expected. Would still buy more as they are great value.

I wanted a robust toolbox to organise my tools in a better way rather than the plastic dump bins I had been using previously. These are very strong, weatherproof, and give the impression that they will endure years of abuse. They are probably 'overkill' for what I first had in mind, but I believe in buying quality to last.

Amazing quality and service, so much cheaper than the competitors but the product is so well built that you'd never know!! Will be buying again from here for sure.

The case catches that secure the case together, really effective. The case looks and feels that it would survive the roughest handling by airport luggage handlers. The pull-apart section of the foam filling could be more robust in that it is easy to come apart whilst inserting and extracting the items from the spaces you make for each item. Not sure what to do apart from glueing the edges together after making the space required.
