Great product, with a 40 kg dead load it leaks no water when submerged in a bath of water for one hour. I would not handle it with a 40 kg dead load, it is probably rated for a lower load than that for mechanical handling purposes. As a static dry store it can easily handle a 40 kg static payload.

We tested this case by placing it in a bath, loading it with 40 kg of copper, closing it and filling the bath with cold water. An hour later the bath was drained and the case left to dry on the outside. Tell tale sheets of tissue lined the inside of the case. Not one drop of water got inside the case. Well done indeed!
