One of the few top-loading cases i could find. Great when working in dusty or sandy areas where the top-loading feature keeps my gear higher off the ground and easier to put in and get out of the case. I also really like the double-stage closure clips.

Very very very pleased with this purchase. Excellent, very fast service from Trifibre as always (I've bought many cases from Trifibre over the years, they're my first choice for rugged cases whenever I buy more gear) and the Max400 because it is a rare rugged case because it is top opening. This means I can stand it in water and still open it and access my camera gear, plus it's a little bit faster access than the normal side opening case. Also, the clasps stay on the bottom part of the case which is nice. Would be nice if Max made another top opening case the same height and width but more depth (say, 280mm) because I'd buy that as well, I'd find that very useful as well.

looks good. happy with it. light weight. maybe not as tough as prev differant maxcase model i got, in the last year. happy with it. I do wonder if rubber handle is the sort that fail and tear from lots of use with heavy loads or long term ageing. maybe rubber decays over long time and is not so nice to hold? as a new fresh product, its a nice handle to use
