“Sturdy and waterproof but wide at ankles So far these boots are very waterproof, and cosy due to the lining. My issue is the width of the 'sock' section above the rubber shoe bit. It is more than half the lendth of the boot and as your heel is not cupped at all by the rubber shoe section your foot moves up and down inside the boot continually with every step. It is not because the boots are too big, I normally take a 6 or 6 & 1/2 but ordered a 7. They are very neat around toes and certainly wouldnt allow a second pair if socks. I realise boots are designated as for a 'youth' but as a 50+woman I'm surely more likely to have the thicker ankles! Not sure of the thinking behind this design flaw. I've now cut off the hose sections of a pair of old socks and wear these rolled into second cuffs around my ankles inside boot so I get use out of them. It's a Pity, I bought these as I've always loved any previous Trespass items.”

“The boots looked great but we’re wat to small so had to return. I foresee a size 40 for my son but they were too small - I tried them on and I’m a 38 and they were even a bit small for me - shame as the boots looked perfect”
