When hiking, we have two rules: take spare laces, and take spare walking tips. Walking poles are great for trekking through solid or bumpy terrain as they help keep your grip, but only if the tips are strong.

“Good rubber tips, but the tip of the Trespass XCountry stick is the same diameter as the hole in the center of the metal washer, at the bottom of the rubber tip. This hole, in the washer, allows the stick tip to wear away at the rubber from the inside causing the rubber tip to wear twice as fast; from the inside and the outside of the rubber tip. It would be a five-star rating if the metal was a solid disk at the bottom of the rubber tip.”

“Functional rubber tips at a good price. Trespass's Click and Collect service is too slow and detracts from purchase experience.”
