“The offer price of £40+ grabbed my attention, I would not have looked at the coat at £170+ I was looking for a waterproof, light coat that could be easily carried in a day rucksack. The coat is very lightweight, pleasant feel to the material. It covers to the top of my thighs. In heavy rain waterproof trousers required. Would easily fit in my rucksack with little added weight. Having worn it once in torrential rain for an hour+ I can confirm that the jacket is waterproof and windproof. The two side pockets have large openings with zips, one minor concern re pockets if the zip fully opened danger of items dropping out. Don't fully open the zip! Size; I am a 42" in shirts, I ordered the XL which fits a treat, room to wear a light fleece underneath if temperature drops. To date very pleased with the purchase.”

“Very light and surprisingly soft. It feels similar to my much more expensive Rab jacket. My son loves it. Not tested it in a big downpour yet.”

“These jackets are ideal for me; they are light and very comfortable to wear. They keep me warm but don’t make me feel too hot. They can fold down into a small space unlike most warm and waterproof jackets. I’m pleased with and impressed by their overall performance”
