Something very wrong with the sizing of these boots, closer to fitting my toddler than me. Poor effort Trespass.

To wear these you have to get past the frustrating fact that Trespass' normal range fit true to stated size , but their premier range can be up to two sizes out. I've no idea why they don't sort this out. Get past this however, and you may find the footwear is a good deal better than expected, and offers a good value proposition. My work is extremely demanding and involves weeks on end in tough desert locations, living off 4WDs and helicopters plus detailed surveys of rig sites in isolated locations, a great deal of walking about. All that, and the occasional adventure holiday in Dubai or Turkey (plus the fact that deserts are surprisingly wet and muddy in wintertime). Mine (these & my Magellans) have been easy and lightweight, almost like slippers. tough, robust and reliable - probably more water resistant than waterproofed, but have provided excellent support and unrivalled comfort in almost ten months of demanding daily use. Most of my colleagues wear something not quite as good, but significantly more expensive. A small number do have something very slightly better - for the price they pay, I would rather buy a five - or-six -year supply of Rhythmic 2s plus the waterproofing kit in store. I first got turned on to DLX a few years ago when Preston store's ever-helpful manager Pete suggested I might get more from my money paying less for two DLX pairs, than for one from a 'Professional All-Singing All-Dancing Hiking kit' store. Got a pair for my brother who works on Crossrail building sites, and his son doing his first round of musical festivals last summer - gleaming reviews both times. Have ordered two sets more. Cheers DLX!

Bought in haste, no regrets, very comfortable and waterproof. I don't give 5* unless used for some time. Staff very helpful in Bideford store.

As others have quoted in their reviews they are the best I have ever seen for the price. I bought mine in the shop in Harrow. If they had another pair of them in my size I may of bought another pair.

Followed the care instructions provided by Trespass: 2 weeks in and the boots were wet inside. Sitting in an airing cupboard most of the time packed with newspaper to help dry them out. Not impressed.

Well I never expected to find a pair of walking truly more comfortable than my trainers! Love the flexible material on the crease points which is where every other pair of walking boots have started to crack and fail. Flexible all the way down the sides so great fit too, really really pleasantly surprised!
