“Let me set the scene... I am 5 foot 1 and a size 16. Im curvy so have bigger hips/bum/boobs but a smaller waist. I ordered an XL. Pro’s: As a short person the arm length was great as was the overall length. The cuffs were a bonus for keeping water out and not flapping and length for keeping bum and thighs covered. As someone with bigger hips I always do the ‘sit down’ test in longer coats. This is to ensure that the jacket doesn’t tighten round the hips becoming too tight and leave me resembling a sausage in a sack. It passed this test!! Why?! Much to my surprise the zip goes two ways! Zips you to down (as normal) but also bottom up! Meaning of a little tighter causing sausage syndrome, unzip slightly to sit down comfortably without undoing the entire jacket. I have a larger chest (32G) and even with a jumper on, zipped up this was comfortable and didn’t feel too tight on the arms rendering them useless (but dry). The other issue being short and curvy, not having something fitted at the waist can make any item of clothing look like a potato sack. The fact this has elasticated sides means it shows your shape and also ensures you don’t have loads of baggy material at the back (short people will know what I mean, we are cursed with excess back material). 10/10 for this jacket. I bought in moss. Excellent quality too which I admit I was surprised by. My mum is buying one as she too likes it so much and my husband said it looked really nice (he knows the drama I have with coats actually fitting me, normal sized people coats = potato sack, petite sized coats = don't fit my boobs and bum). Short people and curvy people rejoice!!”

“I love this rain coat. I wanted something longer but not drab for the school run and it’s perfect. I am a busty size 16 and ordered the XL in moss, it fits great, enough room for a hoody or even just at short on a warmer day, the waist is cinched in giving a flattering look, and the quality is brilliant! I don’t feel sweaty at all in it and it has lovely deep pockets. I got it in the sale but to be honest, I’d be just as happy to pay full price I’m that pleased.”

“I am very pleased with my purchase, I already have a Black one exactly the same, the colour of my new one is Ok but as summer is coming I would have liked the colour to be a bit more summery, however the fit is perfect and as I am a small person the length is great”
