“I used the hand held heat sealer for the first time this morning. I found that I had to play around with the temperature dial to get the bags to seal. There are no numbers to gauge an accurate temperature only an arrow. It did seem to take some time before the temperature was high enough to seal the bags, and there was no indication that the desired temperature had been reached. I experimented to find the best way to seal the bags, lying them on their sides and sliding them under the hot grip or holding the bag in my hand. The latter seemed to work the best, though that was a little tricky. The sealer does the job, I haven't had one before so I can't compare with other makes / types. it appears to be sturdy and if it does the job then it is value for money.”
