Dear Howard Thank you for your review. These bags are made from varigauge film which makes them much stronger than they may appear. The film at the top of the bag, around the handle, is twice as strong as the rest of the bag as this is the point of stress and where they need their strength. They are heavy duty in relation to our standard duty carriers which are not varigauge. If you are not able to use the bags we are very happy for you to send them back to us for a full refund.
