“Classy shelf good quality and easy to fit.I brought the floating shelves with plaster board fixing so saved us trying to find suitable fixings which can be a pain.”

“The shelves are fine but are fine and of a good quality but unfortunately will not weight bear so it has been necessary to fit brackets. As an interim measure I had to use unsuitable metal brackets so I would like to know which oak corbels you would recommend to go with these brackets (also the price). Thank you for your help. Peter Bush”

Hi Ann, thanks for your review. We are pleased to hear you are happy with your shelves and the quality of them. Sorry to hear you have had some installation issues. We can't guarantee the exact weight capacity as there are so many variables which will change this however 2 fixings can potentially hold up to 20kg (10kg per fixing) when fixed to 9 -15mm plasterboard walls. This includes the weight of the shelf (approx 4kg) Variables which may affect this is: weight distribution, condition of the plasterboard, thickness of plasterboard and depth of shelf. We have tried and tested these fixings on thousands of customers and 99% do not have any issues, the 1% that do is usually down to an installation issue.
