These shelves are nicely made and reasonably well finished. There are a few negatives though: 1) They are not a single slab of wood but instead are made of two planks glued together 2) The solid wall fixings are strong and anchor very solidly in the wall. They do not seem to be long enough to properly support shelves of this width though and the holes in the wood are slightly too big resulting in a loose fit and a tendency for the shelves to tilt down, even when the fixings are adjusted upwards to compensate. Ultimately these shelves are priced as a premium product compared to the competition and consequently I expect perfection, which I haven't received here.

Hello, thank you for your honest feedback. Sorry to hear you have a few negative points about your shelves. Please see the below response to your queries: As specified on the website in order to minimise waste, we may manufacture floating shelves from two or more pieces of timber to create the required depth by following strict industry-standard techniques, this does not detract from the overall quality and actually results in further stability. As specified in the installation instructions the fixing holes are designed to be slightly bigger otherwise it will be really difficult to install. Once installed the 1mm difference shouldn't cause any problems. However, as there are so many variables with installation the fixing method doesn't work perfectly for everyone but does for the high majority of customers, perhaps you need to look at a different fixing method to suit your walls.
