“Looks good, very solid. Easy to fit. The cracks give it a rustic look just a shame I can see the bolt through them.”

Hello, thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear you are happy with the rustic look of your beam and you found the installation instructions easy to follow. It is a part of the nature of the product for the cracks to open up slightly as the oak is adjusts to room temprature, unfortunately, we can't determine where the cracks will open up. I would recommend either a black marker on where you can see the fixings or pre-drilling a new hole where it will not be visable
