“my aged beam would be perfect but it is half inch smaller on its width than what i ordered as a result i have had to place a piece of wood underneath to make up the height”

Hi Wayne, sorry to hear you had to make up your height - it does state 3 times on our website that your item will finish to approx 1/2" after being machined and sanded, 1 of which is in bold red writing to make it stand out so not sure how you missed that, thanks for shopping with Traditional Beams

“We ordered and received our Rustic Oak Beam from ‘Traditional Beams’ and we are absolutely delighted with the service, the beauty of the finished product and the ease of how it was to install.
