“I recently ordered 2 x 7.5ft floating shelves from Traditional Beams. The shelves arrived promptly and well-packaged. Included were clear instructions and all of the fixings necessary to put up the shelves. There are pre-drilled holes. The shelves were fixed onto a substantial stone wall and went up easily although it did take a little while as I was conscious of getting the measurements correct before drilling the holes- so much so that I did them one at a time and kept going back to measure up and check. It would have been much quicker and easier if a simple paper/ card template were included with the spaces marked out. I love the new shelves. They look great, they’re well made and I will be making another purchase soon!”

“Great quality! You do have to leave it to sit for two weeks as suggested. I opened it straight away at the varnish had not sunk into the wood yet.”

Hi Eleanor, Thanks for the review. It's lovely to hear that your shelves are great quality however it's only our mantels that need to be left for a couple of weeks to acclimatise prior to install due to the thickness of them and being situated above fireplaces (intense heat source) so you should be ok to install straight away.
