“This product is really high quality but I cannot give it more than 3 stars due to the clear security oversight where the nuts and bolts are concerned; the twin openings are key locked yet the product is supplied with regular nuts and bolts which means anybody with a couple of minutes and a spanner could steal the entire product. Furthermore, the brackets to secure it to the utility bars bend to such an extent when you tighten them up that you cannot reach the recommended torque value. I have solved this issue myself by using a combination of shear nuts and nylon thread nuts; somebody now has to hacksaw mine off which would hopefully draw some attention from anyone in the area and make a bit of noise. By doing this I have been able to fit the pipe Cartier right at the ends of the bars and still have enough room to fit 8'x4' sheets as well. Van Guard really need to supply theft proof fixings in my opinion; I understand they cannot then be moved and I'll have to saw them off if I change my van but this is better than being nicked I'm a couple of minutes.”

“I have a Citroen berlingo for my work van and this pipe carrier fits it perfect. It's a really well built piece of kit thats easy and hassell free to install. Lockable ends so your conduit, copper pipe etc won't go walk about. Plenty of storage space inside aswell. Great product!”
