“It's a 20cm sealing ring. It looks much like the one that came with the original 20cm/3 litre (T80245) pressure cooker just over two years ago and, unsurprisingly, fits well.
[The manual said to replace it every one-to-two years.]
I've not tried it yet but I'm confident that, being the correct 20cm sealing ring for a 20cm/3 litre pressure cooker then it will comfortably out-perform any alternative solution using lengths of sea-tarred rope or anything fashioned from 1950's bicycle inner tubes.
