“Pleased with the grill but sadly arrived damaged (dents and scrapes on the outside of the lid) which is a bit of a shame and dissapointment, but couldn't be bothered with the hassle of returning it. Also one of the legs when folded down doesn't stay folded down. In terms of quality it isn't great and for £45 expected a little more but as a grill it works fine and is portable enough.”

“A difficult one; my husband (ex RN engineer and DT teacher) spent all of one evening and the following morning trying to put the grill together. Several of the screws were out of alignment and some bolts had to be rethreaded. The enamelling finish isn’t as good as it should be causing a small blister to be rubbed and splinter. We went for this bbq grill after much research as we trusted the Tower brand and wanted something sturdy to use on our camping trips. We have yet to use it (holiday in June) but think it will serve us very well as we shall be using it pretty much every day.”

“We used to have a charcoal bbq but then switched to gas for the convenience and what we thought would be less mess. Initially we were made up with it but as time went on, we used it less because the food just tasted like it had been cooked in the kitchen, so it kind of defeated the object of cooking it on the bbq. It was also quite big and a bit of an effort to store away in our very small shed. So we decided to switch back to charcoal but didn't want a great bit hefty thing taking up space. We literally only wanted to throw a few burgers and sausages on the grill from time to time and be able to travel with it and pack the thing away when we needed to. I found a few portable bbqs online but the Tower seemed to have the best reviews and we didn't need to take out a loan to afford it! It was delivered really quickly and well packaged up. It was a little bit fiddly to put together but it's well made, a great size and pretty solid. I love that you can fold the legs away and it has the carry handle for moving it about so it's really portable and takes up very little storage space. We used it for the first time at the weekend and it only needed one little 'light the bag' of charcoal to heat the whole grill area. We got a good hour and a half of cooking heat by closing the lid and using the vent and cooked plenty of burgers and sausages in that time. Our friends were very impressed with our little 'briefcase cooker' and moreso when they found out the price! It was easy enought to clean up too, so overall, we've been made up with our little Tower and it was great having that proper bbq flavour again.”

“We bought this Bbq purposely to cook a tomahawk steak as our masonry bbq does not have a lid, the result was great, it really is good, sturdy and great quality, I haven't used my masonry bbq since.”
