“Annoying. That is basically it. Too sensitive, so opens when anyone vaguely wafts passed it. Also closes too quickly so you end up chucking food all over the lid. Looks ok but it’s easily marked.”

It's tends to open just by walking past it and the top doesn't sit securely on the bin. I gave it 4 stars for it's look and the idea of motion sensor. Neither disappointed or overjoyed by this purchase.”
