“I’m very happy with my dehumidifier, really easy to use . I would like it to be a bit more quieter however I would recommend it regardless the noise level”
“The Tower dehumidifier has exceeded expectations and we are really pleased. It’s better than all previous appliances of this kind that we have had in the past and we have used to dry out our particularly damp room in a short space of time. We were recommended this item as my dad had purchased one and we have not been disappointed. Really recommend to others.”
“This dehumidifier is powerful, stylish, and easy to use. Would recommend; I compared over 20 dehumidifiers before deciding on this one. It has a high extraction rate, large tank capacity, different modes such as clothes drying or timer or desired humidity level, and a continuous operation mode with a removable outlet hose. It doesn't have an air purifier but I looked into this and that feature is basically a gimmick on all dehumidifiers - you're better off buying a proper dedicated air purifier if that's what you need.
Using it in a 1-bed flat with clever positioning covers most of the property. Easy to move as it's on wheels. Some reviews say it's noisy at 48dB - all large dehumidifiers will have a similar noise level - but it's similar to a fan or air conditioner and I don't find it noisy.
My only complaints are
1. It was cheaper at a non-promo price at another retailer (Robert Dyas) and I only discovered this after my order. You'd think going direct would give you the cheapest non-promo prices.
2. The outlet vent is covered by a flap. It was not obvious to me or my partner that there was a flap as it blends in well with the design and isn't labeled. Performance is seriously hindered with the flap closed, it would take a long time to drop the relative humidity level and it would not reach the desired humidity level no matter how long it was operating. Once the flap was opened it reached the desired levels quickly. We've had to stick a post-it note to the flap that says "open flap when in use" to make it more obvious.”
