“Not impressed. Doesn't handle well. Like a lump of iron. The flex from the iron is horizontal and rubs into the wrist makinking it soar. Othe irons the lead lies flat without body contact. It a poor replacement for the Murphy Richards it replaced.
Having to empty the water tank after each use is basically stupid and time consuming.
I also miss the constant steam button.
I’m surprised after always praising other Tower products that this one is so bad. Don’t Tower do testing of products ie let the people who buy them test them out and give recommendations.

“A stream gen less than a £70, it can’t be right! Simple it’s a Bargain. Having used a Tefal one for many years i can compare quite well. Stream power is great, easy to fill, has filter in water tank which I thought was a good addition (but it does mean spare replacement ordering later). Normal heat up time. Did notice a few spots of water from steam bursts - tefal does the same. I bought this for my mum (70+) when I was staying for the week, hers was a little old.. She’s over the moon, she’s a ‘session’ ironer and doesn’t stop going on about it, ‘easy’, ‘time saving’ and less heavy than her old one! Simple put, get this to see if a steam generator is for you, I’m sure you won’t go back!!
If you like the cold water spray button, it doesn’t have one..you can steam the stubborn crease out.”
