Not had this long but it has been used quite a lot. Generally it is good, you do have to work your own timings out and just use the instruction booklet timings as a guide. I'm sure there are more complicated /sophisticated machines on the market, but for a basic and fairly simple air fryer at a very reasonable price this does the job for me. There are in my opinion only a couple of negatives. 1)You have to be careful to make sure the draws go back exactly in line, seems fidly particularly the right hand one 2)The instruction book could be a little more comprehensive, and more example timings/temps

Great air fryer at a very good price. I already have a Tower single basket but often need more space when family are round.

Having looked and compared specifications carefully, I decided on the Tower Vortx. It did seem good value for money. And on paper the specs looked good. I was however, rather disappointed in the finish of it 'in the flesh' when it arrived. The grey finish looked good in the pictures, however it looks a bit plasticy and there are white-ish stress marks in the finish, on the corners etc. In use, it works well enough, but my biggest gripes are that the drawers are awkward to put back in after removal, and some care and fiddling is required to get them to slot in properly, or they get jammed. My second complaint is, that I understood the maximum temperature to be 240 degrees. For the life of me I cannot get it above 210 degrees and personally I find this annoying as, for example, a jacket potato just does not crisp up enough for my preference. Although this may be fine for other people. Would I recommend it? Not really, I'm sorry to say. Yes, its good value and mine has 3 years warranty (needs to be registered) but I think I wouldn't buy the same one again.
