“Despite telling customer services I had ordered the wrong part they did
nothing to alter the order for the write part, my conclusion is your customer
services are useless.”
“The rotisserie basket works as it should. Its a bit fiddly to get into place and the catch feels a bit loose and doesnt clip very securely, so it could pop open if you have a lot of chips in it. I did a few chips for two people and it was ok, and the chips came out perfect, so I'm happy with it.”
“The latch doesn’t stay closed. As it’s rotating the latch becomes loosen with the chips moving. Eventually it opens up while cooking. It arrived with one corner of the latch door pushed in slightly, found that part pushed in (being bent) it stayed closed. Used a back of a knife to open it.
The cook time is a little longer, example on the wire racks with McCain chips took 20mins, in the basket 30mins.
Pros- rotating the chips for a better overall cook.
Cons- latch doesn’t stay closed (unless you have the corner of the door bent inwards).”
“I have tried many times to get this to work .It does a few faultering turns and then turns off. This seems to be a fault with the mechanism of the fryer. I would very much like to return the T1706501 for a refund. The fryer works well on all other settings so I leave the outcome of the fryer to you, I will keep it if you will honour the refunds.
