“Used it only once so far. Home-made fries didn't crisp as well as hoped for but that may be a matter of needing a little more oil and a higher cooking temperature. Practice makes perfect. What I found not so good was getting the crisper into the fryer and, more so, removing it when it is very hot. It needs a simple 'tool' to lift out the crisper.”
