“This is a solid, compact pressure cooker which, so far, has performed well. I haven't had chance to try out all its features but it seems to be very good value for money. As it works in a slightly different way to a conventional stove top I cooker I would have liked rather more advice on usage in the instruction booklet.”
“I am happy with this electric pressure cooker, used it 4 to 5 times in last month, does great beef vegetable stews, chicken pieces in sauce and vegetables. I also cooked a lamb Rogan Gosh, a mild curry but all was so tender, cooked 40mins. However I am not happy with the sealing of the lid, 2nd time I used it, @3 days after purchase, I put the heavy lid back to front and it jammed so quickly. By the time I realised my mistake, I turned the appliance off the mains, 3 people in the house tried to un-jam, but it was shut tight, no pressure left inside but chicken inside was cooked, so had to make a decision to force open this lid. A serrated breadknife sawed the little black tongue left of the pressure hole to release the lid from the back sliding groove. I left the other tiny wedge on, untouched and the missing one was enough to slide the lid back to open, still working fine.
However I feel the pressure tightness is not as efficiently sealed, the lid wobbly, unsafe with children around as could easily open, but safe for us adults.
I do feel that the lid is FAULTY by design to be able to twist it in back to front by a silly minute distraction, it is easily done, I don't think it is a first for this model. I feel that maybe you could send me a new lid and I would send you my slightly damaged lid, there was no other solution at the time but to cut this protruding black plastic wedge off the lid edge.
Thank you for reading me and awaiting your comments in due course.

“I am very happy with the pressure cooker, the book with instructions was not very good as it did not help with how to remove the seal for washing and I only found out by trial.
I would recomend the cooker to anyone who wants to reduce cooking time and yet keep the flavour.”
“The product is great value for money as it is more than just a pressure cooker. This machine offers great value for money and a good quality product which you would expect from Tower. You can fry off your ingredients so less washing up which is always a plus. You can do everything in one pot as well so once again less washing up to do. The results are brilliant. I use it for stews, soups, spagbol, steamed vegetables and the list goes on. It's a 100% improvement on the older style pressure cookers that my mum used yo have with different weights to be added and had to use it on the hob. The digital version has bought pressure cooking right into the 21st century. If you ever felt that pressure cookers are time bombs waiting to go off don't feel that is the case with this version. There is a security locked lid which will not release until you release the steam. The buttons and menu selection is easy to read and use. The stay warm feature is another benefit especially when you are juggling lots of things in the kitchen at the same time. This pressure cooker has given me back some of my time as now I can put out fantastic meals in far less time and effort. You will not regret buying this little addition to the kitchen thank you Tower.”
