Halogen Low Fat Air Fryer Reviews

4.7 Rating 211 Reviews
We've been using these for a long time now. There's no waiting for pre-heat and the cooker gives good results for all sorts of foods; pizza, chips, chicken, fish, burgers, etc. This version has a good supply of metal stands, baskets, etc, but there are some issues, e.g. The timer control doesn't start at zero, so timing isn't accurate.

Had previous halogen ovens but I really like the Tower one. Like the black lid, very smart and the included racks and baskets. It's fairly quiet when in use, saves fuel and cooks well. Added bonus is included extended warranty.

Its a healthier way to cook. Its not messy. You can cook more than one item at the same time. Cooks chicken nice. The fries/chips are better, crisper. Nice to set the timer and temperatur to desire. Certainly better than Deep Fat Fryers.

We bought this after seeing friends use something similar and after our old deep fat fryer gave up! The Airwave low fat fryer looks well made straight out of the box. It is clear thought has gone into the design and the accessories are good - although the thin, fiddly pieces of metal described as tongs are totally inadequate and went into the recycling bin immediately. We have tried out the Airwave a couple of times now and it takes some getting used to, but you have to persevere. What would help is if more info was provided on how to use the Airwave to cook the more common foodstuffs - like chips! With a bit of trial and error the Airwave will probably fully replace our old deep fat fryer, but we haven't yet found that optimum cooking time or method.
