“This is our first Tower kettle, bought to replace one from another brand which suddenly died - the second to do so in recent years. We chose Tower Cavaletto not just for its looks, but also because it is a Which? Best Buy and Eco Buy, and because Tower kettles came top in the Which? table of most reliable kettles. It's early days, but we're happy with the kettle so far. It's not the quietest we've ever had, but it boils enough water for 2 mugs of tea in comfortably under 2 minutes. One thing to watch is that we don't remove the kettle from its base while it's still switched on; previous makes we've had did allow this.”
