“It’s came without remote control, after a struggled I manage to get £24 refund. I am 78 years old when I record the complaint I have been told to used it and will arrange the remote control then I have informed the it’s not in stock. If I returned the cooler back I will have to pay because I used it. Not happy at all. I never wanted to get this without remote control. No option left just to except the partial refund. Not happy at all.”
“Ordered just prior to the Heatwave, arrived on time. Neat looking unit with plenty of controls. The remote control an added bonus.
Decent powerful fan, with 3 speed settings. Easy fill water tray at base.
It probably wasn’t the best time in the extreme heat, to give a rating, as it didn’t appear to do much to cool the air in the bedroom , even with iced water and extra ice packs added to the 2 supplied. However the fan movement did stir the air, albeit warm air.
Since temperatures came back down to a more normal level, it has been used a few times, especially with humidity levels still fairly high and did appear to work a lot more efficiently ..
Would I recommend it ? Probably because of its other benefits.”
“I would love to write a review but Evri have lost both my air coolers (I purchased one of each) Tower haven`t refunded or replaced. I am still waiting and tracking for both hasn`t updated for over a week”
“Never received it, Evri was supposed to deliver it last Saturday. Evri emailed they had delivered to my property Saturday at 14:00 we were in all day we have cameras on the door no Evri driver came on that day to us or any of the people on our street, I checked the same day. Tower dragged their heels as far as chasing up the missing item, I had to push each day for information. I was eventually told the item is no longer in stock (surprise surprise I lose out on the £60.00 off offer) and had been sent a refund on Wednesday, so far there is no sign of the refund on my Paypal account it is Saturday..... I am very disappointed in Tower and feel I have been badly treated. I will never buy from Tower online again.”
“I purchased this for my daughter as her house is constantly in the sun. She and her husband are both very happy with the air cooler as they put it on for a while before going to bed and it cools their bedroom down.”
“Doesn't cool as good as the hype. The ceiling fan is just as effective and unless you have air con it circulates air. The plus side is it does humibify which helps if you suffer from asthma.”
“I had high hopes of this cooler, though I wasn’t expecting it to be able to match an air con unit.
However, I’ve been quite disappointed; I have a regular fan in the room and I can’t really distinguish and difference in the air they are circulating. The air from the cooler doesn’t feel particularly cool.
As a fan it’s good, it distributes air well and the oscillation element works well. I probably could have bought another simple fan that would have done the job for half the price.
First Tower product that I have been disappointed in.”
“Has been a godsend during the current hot spell, especially in the cool mode. Pet Labrador loves it.
The only downside is the disconnection of the power from the water tank, very fiddly.
Otherwise worth the price.”
