“I’m disappointed as there is no cool air even with the ice packs they do nothing to it at all. I wish I had not wasted my time and invested in an air con unit”
“Presto air cooler doesn’t oscillate as effectively as had hoped but a nice looking unit. Ordered two units, one parcel got lost in transit with photo evidence, rather than them send me a new one made me wait over a week while they investigated which wasn’t resolved, now been told refund has been started of which could be 5-10 days so yet to receive. Would not recommend this company.”

“I bought this fan to help make my home office more comfortable on really hot days. At the discounted price it seems good value, & was delivered free within 24 hours.
The 3 speed fan works well & the oscillating feature is silent.
The cooling feature uses a pump to pass water from the tank to the labyrinth where it returns to the tank. Air blowing over this humidifies the air which is cooler you evaporation. This drops the air temperature from the fan by about 2 deg.C. Not air conditioning but useful in hot weather & not expensive to run.
Ice packs supplied can cool the water further.
Drawbacks - not much. It would have been nice to have the 2 aaa batteries for the remote supplied. When refitting the tank, it sometimes catches the pump assembly which flips out of the way, & required intervention from my finger but I can cope with that.
Overall a worthwhile & easy purchase direct from Tower, & simple on line registration to upgrade the warranty to two years.”
