“These strips are better than most in the sense that they test more than just the basics; for example, they test both TOTAL chlorine and FREE chlorine (most just measure free chlorine). However, as with all testing strips, it can be difficult to get an accurate reading. You have to compare the colour on the strip with a colour chart on the bottle, but the colour differences are so subtle that the reading could just as easily be a 3 or a 5!”
