“Love the look of this well constructed piece and overall we are pleased with it. Slight niggle that it does not appear to be solid oak throughout - the main piece of the top appears to be plywood with an oak veneer and the back appears to be some form of softwood planking, as do the shelves. Matching nest of tables is similar with the main part of the table looking like plywood with an oak veneer but with solid oak surround and legs. We stand to be corrected about the woods used and there is nothing wrong with this type of construction but clarity on the website would be preferable - what was on there gave us the impression it was all solid oak and the words 'no ply' led us to conclude it was all oak. On re-reading this it is in the paragraph covering the drawers so perhaps technically correct as the drawers are all 'real wood'....although not sure that they are all real oak! We are happy with the pieces we bought for the price paid and love how they look but solid oak is available for similar (sale) prices and clarity on the website would avoid the mixed feelings we have been left with. To be clear we haven't rejected them so perhaps that says something :-)”

“I must say I wasn't very sure how this sideboard would be as have never bought anything from Top Furniture before. The product is good quality, solid oak, and goes well with my furniture. I think it is good value.”
